The Science

Hello everyone. Today I would like to talk about science !! Specifically about astronomy. Astronomy is the science that studies the behavior, composition and nature of stars. I personally have always loved astronomy. In fact before I started to study music, I was going to be an astronomer (or at least I aspired of studying astronomy).

Why talk about astronomy? Because a few days ago a very interesting discovery was made because scientists had capture the right moment (Thanks to telescopes located in the north of our country) in which two neutron stars collided after having been rotating between them for a long time. It was also possible to obtain the "sound" (simplifying the term) of this collision.

As you should know the level of knowledge of science is exponential (it grows more and more, as time progresses). And this has allowed a great leap in technology and knowledge over the last 40 years.

As far as chile concerns, we can proudly say that in Chile we have "the eyes of the world". Because thanks to the clean skies of the north of our country and the powerful facilities that we have (thanks to European organizations) we own 40% of the world's astronomical observation and by 2022 we will own 70% in which Chile can be crowned as "the world capital of astronomy".
